How AV, Space, and Technology Work Together
This session will discuss the unique challenges and considerations involved in large scale capital projects for K-12 and higher education institutions. Participants will explore the differences between refreshing existing rooms and building new facilities, as well as the importance of security measures and AV standards in creating a positive student experience. The class will cover industry standards and best practices, and provide guidance on infrastructure requirements, as well as telecommunications and wireless networks. Participants will also learn about the integration of technology-enabled furniture. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully plan technology systems for capital projects in educational settings.
